Wakan have unveiled their latest special-edition motorcycle – the Track Racer Special S&S 50th Anniversary. With this bike, Wakan are celebrating 50 years of S&S, whose engines are fitted to Wakan bikes.
The bike is a one-off special, with no plans for production. However, apart from the new exhaust, the Track Racer Special is fitted with the same S&S 1640cc, 115bhp v-twin which has powered earlier Wakan motorcycles.
Other bits also remain the same – 46mm Ceriani USD forks and ZF Sachs rear shock, chrome-molybdenum frame, five-speed gearbox, and Marchesini forged aluminium wheels. There’s a single, six-piston caliper, 340mm brake disc at the front. Dry weight is less than 180kg, top speed is around 250km/h and the cool factor is stratospheric.
