Dragon TT Atila 1000 R Concept

This rather “interesting” motorcycle debuted at the 2010 EICMA show, as a product of a collaboration between Spanish designer Dragon TT and Madrid based builder MotoYE. We would say that this Spanish duo is responsible for a “monster”, a cross between motorcycle and a Predator species (with some genes of Wall-E ). The base is the  1000cc Yamaha R1 inline-four engine, with 160HP, but bolted onto the chassis of 1990′s Yamaha GTS1000. Just as a reminder, GTS1000 was one of the first models with single sided RADD design (front suspension and steering).
The Atila 1000R features R6 headlights, Brembo brakes, Öhlins suspension, and Moriwaki aftermarket parts. There is a distinctive streetfighter “ass in the air” looks – making Atila 1000 R a little bit of everything – old school, new school, streetfighter, superbike and whatnot. No words on pricing yet. All in all – this is one seriously crazy custom bike. And just for that fact – we like it.
